Pours a semi clear amber with soft, soapy head.

Smell is very fruity with a hint of malty sweetness and notes of citrus, florals and hints of ginger and what I can only think of as Southern Comfort.

Taste is fruity and a bit sweet. Notes of grapefruit, pine and the Southern Comfort again. A bit of warming alcohol and a soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a nice, slightly off center IPA.

Pours an almost clear, golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and citrus/stone fruit aromas, as well as a hint of strawberry. Taste is great balance of biscuity, caramel malt and vibrant citrus and stone fruit hops, with notes of grapefruit and peach, with the latter standing out particularly, as well as just a hint of strawberry and some light herbal accents developing towards the finish. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some peach and herbal accents lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is a very nice DIPA with a great balance of slightly sweet malt and bitter, fruity hops, with the latter standing out quite distincly, although also with a slightly unusual flavor profile for the hop bill, really not being that tropical or distinctly citrussy and instead providing some strong peach and lighter strawberry notes, as well as grapefruit and perhaps a hint of pineapple, with some herbal accents also coming through. A very enjoyable DIPA indeed, although perhaps not quite what one might expect.
