Dead or alive - you're coming with me. Big loads of wheat and oats to give it the desired creamy mouthfeel and massive amounts of Idaho7, Citra and Amarillo for the juicyness. We tried a new yeast blend for the first time to emphasize a fruity esther profile.

Pours a hazy, golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus hops, with notes of grapefruit and tangerine, as well as a light herbal dankness. Taste follows the nose, with a good balance of light biscuity malt and quite zesty citrus notes of grapefruit, tangerine and lime peel, as well as much lighter tropical papaya and just a hint of pine and herbal dankness. Finishes quite zesty and tangy, with light hop burn and a medium bitterness, as well as some citrus and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Quite a nice NEIPA that is almost too bitter and zesty/tangy for the style, but definitely has those juicy citrus and lighter tropical notes going for it. The zesty citrus character really stands out here, making this finish on a rather tangy and somewhat acidic note, which is not unpleasant at all though. Personally, I rather like it, actually, while the yeast may play a certain role here alongside the hops.
