Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropica/berry hops, with notes of orange, mango and lighter white grape. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly dank and spicy hops, with citrus, tropical and lighter berry notes of orange, mango and white grape, with just a hint of grassy, peppery weed. Finishes with a light bitterness and and some orange, mango and dank accents lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice New England IPA that's quite hazy and juicy, but perhaps just a tad too sweet for my personal taste, although the slightly dank and bitter notes balance this out well enough. I would have also wished for the Nelson Sauvin to come through a bit more distinctly, even though there's still a good mix of citrus, tropical and berry notes going on here, with the orange juice vibe standing out the most. Not a hint of booziness to this though, given the ABV, while this drinks dangerously easy. Overall this makes for a very enjoyable brew that could have just been slightly differently balanced for my personal taste.
