Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/citrus and lighter berry/stone notes of papaya, grapefruit, blueberry and peach. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly floral, herbal and resinous hops, with tropical, citrus, berry and stone fruit notes of papaya, mango, pink grapefruit, lime peel, blueberry, gooseberry, peach and apricot, as well as just a hint of pine. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some papaya, grapefruit, blueberry and peach lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a very nice New England IPA that rather juicy and has an interesting and varied array of hop aromatics to it, ranging from the more common tropical and citrus to berry and stone fruit notes. To make this a bit more interesting there are also some light floral, herbal and resinous accents to this. Very nice overall balance, with a good mouthfeel and they certainly haven't made it easy to guess the hop combination with such wide range of hop aromatics to this. My best guess is Mosaic, Talus, Wai-iti and Enigma, but it's a tough one.
