Raspberry and strawberry rounded up by a hint of vanilla on a medium sour base beer. Just the right level of sourness for those who want to try the style.

Pours a hazy, dark red coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smell is dominated by strawberry, with hints of raspberry and the vanilla not really coming through much in the nose. Taste is a good balance of natural strawberry and raspberry notes with just a hint of vanilla also coming through, as well as a good underlying lactic tartness. Finishes with a light/medium tartness and some strawberry and raspberry lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a nice Fruited Kettle Sour that thankfully doesn't cross over into Pastry Sour territory, not being too sweet, or that sweet at all really. The strawberry and raspberry notes feel rather fresh, although they could perhaps be a little more vibrant, while the vanilla is very subdued here. In a way, that's a good thing because it doesn't feel overwhelmingly sweet, but I'm kinda struggling to detect much vanilla at here against the lactic acidty. Overall, while there is a good overall balance to this, with good fruity notes and acidity, the vanilla could be a little more distinct, which isn't really that much of a big deal though unless you were really hoping for a big vanilla kick on this.
