Collaboration with Seven Island Brewery.
DDH Double IPA in New England style as a collab with our friends from Seven Island Brewing from Greece. Hazy and juicy with a super high amount of wheat and oat malt. Aroma is pleasantly grassy with strong notes of peach, citrus and berries.
Hops: Nectaron, Mosaic, Galaxy, Columbus.
Malts: Barley, wheat, oats.

Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical/stone fruit/citrus hops, with notes of passion fruit, peach and tangerine, as well as some berry accents. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly herbal and earthy hops, with tropical, stone fruit, citrus and lighter berry notes of passion fruit, pineapple, peach, tangerine, grapefruit and blueberry. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some passion fruit, peach, grapefruit and earthy/herbal accents lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a nice New England IPA that has got quite a wide range of flavors to it, from tropical, citrus and stone fruit to berry and earthy/herbal accents. I always like to see those berry notes come through from Mosaic, which you get kinda rarely. Then there's the typical, distinct peach from Nectaron and passion fruit from Galaxy, with Columbus lending some subtle earthy, herbal accents to this as well, which provide a great balance here along with a good bitterness. Mouthfeel really could be a bit more soft and pillowy though, while there's a light hop burn to this as well.
