Copenhagen 25/4 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can with dark grey bubbles and golden letters.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong fermented odor of tropical frit and alcohol mingling with sharp citric notes. Mango, papaya and peach. Slightly decayed. Grapefruit and citrus. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry with a boozy streak.
Hides the high ABV well beneath a lot of intensity in aroma and flavor.
