Copenhagen 29/4 2022. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Brewheart's usual design with a twisted yellow heart on a light blue background and the visage of a Duck Fatale with a purple lips/beak.
Pours opaque, slightly dirty, hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin and flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, odor of tropical fruit and lemonade mingling with a more subtle citrus fruit. Sweet peach and nectarine. Pineapple. Fermented touch. Lemon and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter ad a bit searing. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and bitter.
Rather light but tasty DIPA.
