Draft at brewery. Aroma initially is funky, but taste evens it out a bit. Clear golden, soft head. Nice lacing. Slight mango flavors, mildly funky. Hemp. Interesting.

a pretty basic pale ale here, but they use all organic ingredients in it, so props for that, its its fresh and even bold for its modest abv. its also a little maltier than it looks like it should be with its pale color here, but it is, and it works. not sweet, just a baked cereal complexion, almost a granola vibe to it, seems kind of healthy, the barley is definitely different, maybe thats the organic aspect, maybe some real light english crystal in here, either way its nice. the beer has a little bit of west coast oily hop character to the texture, but the flavor is light orange, green tea leaf, and very mild bitterness. its a real well balanced beer where both the grain and hops have their separate moments, and then come together nicely at the end, not canceling each other out like is often the case in the maltier pale ales. body is medium, bigger than expected for the lower abv and light color, and it feels fairly hearty overall. they do a fresh hop version of this too apparently, which i would love to try. a simple but well executed beer, and you can tell the ingredients are quality. an enjoyable brew to be sure!
