A bit of a surprise coming out of the can as the brew is coppery red. Opaque with a short head that immediately settles out to a ring, no real lace. Nose is more malty than hoppy, sweet caramel over some fruit. Watery mouthfeel, initially quite drying to the edge of feeling powdery. Hops eventually assert themselves in some measure, bur still not so much. Drinks like a mild English bitter. Gently pleasant, I suppose.
