Served from the tap in a taster glass at the Cercis brewpub.
Pours a clear russet-amber topped by a finger of pale khaki foam. The nose comprises grass, light candied orange peel, mild caramel, mixed greens, and a touch of what I can only describe as rye-like spice in the background. The taste brings in more of the same, though that rye-ish bit is gone, replaced by a stronger sense of loam. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly drying finish. Not a bad red, to be honest, though nothing all that special, either. I could drink another.
