Served from the tap in a taster glass at the Cercis brewpub.
Pours a partly cloudy sunshine brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises mild cracked wheat, grass, light flowers, and a touch of what may or may not be banana peel. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a slight bit of spice in the background (my brain instinctively wants to label this as clove, given the style, but any further thought puts this possibility to only a vague possibility, I'm afraid). The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a wet feel. Now, the menu's description labels this as a hef, hence why I labeled it as such here, but elsewhere it's categorized as a pale wheat, and I'm starting to agree with that assessment, regardless of the brewers' aim: hardly any hef affect is present here, aside from some wheat character and a bit of banana (sorta, kinda, if you think about it).

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
