Copenhagen 23/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Åben's usual design with split label in red with orange and purple berry-forms.
Pours opaque, hazy burgundy with a small pink head. Bubbly. Settles as thin path of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with sour and tart notes. Currants, raspberry and hints of sweet berries. Citrus and tart green berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling, lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers shortly. Finish is dry.
Fine, fresh, fruity and well-balanced.
