Copenhagen 31/1 2024. 44 cl can from Beershoppen webshop. Green version of Åben's usual label design with a split in the label.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of overripe stone fruits mingling with a subdued citric scent. Peach and mango. Lemon and lime. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed and balanced by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent and not too heavy.
