This collab was made with People Like Us. The Copenhagen-based contract brewery. They wanted to do something that was special and different and so we did. This is a wheat stout kicking in at 5.7%. Delicious, light and refreshing!

Copenhagen 11/3 2021. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Orange label in Åben's usual design with a split label and People Like Us' logo with the two heads.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin, patchy, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and roasted odor mingling with an earthy touch. Dark roasted malts, chocolate, caramel. Leather and damp soil.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lively, fizzy texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and earthy. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Light well-balanced Stout with a bitter edge.
