Copenhagen 17/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Åben's usual split label in the color of a cloudless deep blue sky.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate Laing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of malts and an exotic fruit mingling with sharp citric notes. Sweet pale malts. Pineapple and apricot. Grapefruit, lime and pine.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone dry.
Very much on the bitter and dry side. Good one.
