Stolen Kiwi is part of our Stolen Fruit series that consist of soured wheat beers with added fruit. This one we added primarily kiwi's but also a slight touch of passionfruit and lime to enhance the tartness of the beer. Super fruity and refreshing.

Copenhagen 11/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Åbens usual green split label with some approximately kiwi shaped forms hovering.
Pours murky golden yellow with small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet fruity odor mingling with tart notes. Sweet kiwi, sour gooseberries, wheat malts. Acerbic and tart.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a salty tang. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Berliner Weisse with subtle flavoring and a reasonable balance.
