A full-bodied Oatmeal Milk Stout made with coffee from Prolog and lactose. The idea was to create a smooth stout that imitated the idea of drinking coffee.

Copenhagen 9/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. Åben's usual split label in plain black with white letters.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, dark and malty odor mingling with coffee and earth notes. Caramel, roasted dark malts, sweet lactose. Bitter coffee. Wet soil and leather.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, fat and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a somewhat stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit tart. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
More bitter coffee than gentle Latte.
