Coffee & Tea is one of our 2023 winter beers named after the classic Christmas ballet "The Nutcracker." Coffee & Tea is a sour made with cascara (the fruity skin of coffee beans) and hibiscus tea. It is a perfect companion when a cup of tea does not cut it.

Copenhagen 3/2 2024. 44 cl cn from Beershoppen web-shop. Green label with light green leaves in Åben's usual split design.
Pours unclear, murky dark red with a small pink head. Bubbly. Disappears almost completely after 10 seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with subtle sour notes. Sweet strawberry and hibiscus. Sour cheese and tart currants. Fruit Tea.
Rather strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and a bit fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a tad watery. Lingers shortly. Finish is thin and sourish.
Not too tart Sour Brew.
