Copenhagen 12/6 2023. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Can in Åben's usual split-design with facets in green and black.
Pours opaque golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet slightly fermented odor of ripe stone fruits mingling with a more subdued citric scent. Peach, mango and passion fruit. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Satisfying Indian Pale Ale.
