Copenhagen 19/6 2023. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Åben's usual spot label with an almost cloudless blue sky. Confusing.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with rough sourish bitter scent with a whiff of alcohol. Sweet pale malts, sour grains and lemon. Sharp boozy vibe.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by strong, rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a distinct touch of alcohol. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit boozy and unforgiving.
