Copenhagen 8/7 2023. 44 cl can from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Red can with what looks like a handful of crudely drawn Asparagus.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with big white head. Fluffy and a bit frothy. Settles as a 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of stone fruits mingling with stronger citric scent. Peach and apricot. Grapefruit and lime. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. A bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Nice flavor of citrus but a bit subdued in the aroma department.
