Copenhagen 7/6 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop- Åben's usual can design with a split label in orange and red shades.
Pours unclear, almost opaque orange with a mid-sized, frothy white head. Stable. Settles as a 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and fermented odor of overripe exotic fruit mingling with sharp citric notes. Mango and passion fruit. Alcohol. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Drunk in a diffuse light - but there is nothing diffuse about this DIPA.
