8 ball black with a short tan head dispersing to a flat collar leaving tiny dalmatian spots all over the glass.
While there is a toasty cinnamon presence, it's only accenting a more dominant porter base of classic light tobacco and roast.

Appearance - Poured from the can, the beer was a murky dark brown color with a white head crowning the glass.
Smell - The nose pretty much nailed the aroma of a porter but with a light hint of cinnamon. It was very dry malt forward.
Taste - The beer was labeled as a “milk porter”. To judge it correctly, I cross-referenced characteristics of a milk stout and porter. The beer had the body and back bone of a dry American porter. The cinnamon was well balanced and did not overcome the main beer. Cinnamon lingered in the aftertaste. There was not much sweetness, nor the “Crunch” suggested in the name. The profile was a little one dimensional.
Mouthfeel - The lactose, that makes us a “milk porter” made this somewhat smooth. There was little noted carbonation.
Overall - For a newer brewery, this is pretty solid. I suspect it will be improved over time.
