Exclusive release on 01 April for "The Forty-One Club" menbers.
Took this home in a 32oz crowler. Poured into a stout goblet at a measured 55 degrees. Very dark, nearly black in color with a thin dark tan head. Very light carbonation. these latter two items are most likely due to the way the crowler was filled. Rich chocolate nose with toasted malts, there is a note of coconut. My first sip... Noticebly sweet. Chocolate is there. just getting the coconut. Smooth mouth feel. Rich and thick. The 7.5 ABV is well hidden. This one could sneek up on you. A little on the sweeter side than I normally like, but for special occations, this is a very good representation of the style.
