Pours reddish brown with a tan head. Boozy quad, but the alcohol is pretty masked in the taste. Dark fruit finish, and decent to drink, but watch out with the ABV.

On tap at Stony Run Brew House. Pours a dark reddish brown with a thin light-tan head. Initial impression is a sweet and boozy Tripel with spicy, dark fruit and bourbon up front, followed by a hint of caramel malts. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky; carbonation is light. Alcohol is pretty obvious, but at 16% what can you do? Finish is sweet and sticky, with a dark fruit and slightly chemical residual. OK but not special.
