The Freefolk Brewery

 

Stopped while doing a hiking vacation in the New River Gorge. It was only about a third full but had only been open for about an hour. Meet half a dozen people I had seen earlier in the day on the hiking trails. People were friendly and we had a good time talking about our hikes on the different trails. Everyone at our table(s) enjoyed their beers. I had a hamburger for my early dinner and it was juicy and wonderful, no condiments needed for the burger or fries. Well worth a visit.

stopped in to pick up a growler of beer after a day hiking in New River Gorge park. Rustic looking place along the side of the road, parking is across the street. They've got an outdoor seating area, where everyone was (nice day, and during COVID). Cool artsy vibe. Bartender helped me determine a beer to get a growler of. Double Red IPA which was decent.
