I've been here several times. It's out of the way and well worth the drive. Nice wide variety of beers on tap. The food was good (had the burger) but the menu is a little limited. For me, the variety of beer styles make this place. On the last visit I had a Porter and a Belgian Quad. I took home Czech Dark Lager, Altbier, a couple of barrel aged stouts and a strong Belgian golden. They definitely set themselves apart from many of the local breweries who seem to focus on churning out IPA after IPA.

I've been to Lost Druid three times since they opened in June. The beer is very good and creative, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is fine, and the staff is tremendous.

On our recent drive thru Georgia we stopped in on a few breweries and The Lost Druid (near Decatur) was absolutely the best. We had friendly, helpful and timely service, great beer and food that was spot on. The English IPA was the right beer for a hot day, perfectly balanced and refreshing. We assumed we would find the usual bar food but the folks in the kitchen far exceeded our expectations. The flatbreads were easily the best we've had in a long time (not only for the taste but also the texture of the bread). The atmosphere was comfortable and it was nice to see that the event space is upstairs, hopefully enabling the main level to stay open during an event. Enjoyed talking with the bartender at the end of our visit and only at that point realized how recently they opened (Summer 2019). Follow GPS, it's on a side road near the railroad tracks. So happy to find this place and we'll definitely return the next time we're in the area.

they are just getting started (July 2019) but this place has a lot of promise. In a newly built building in the emerging town/neighborhood of Avondale Estates, probably only 500 yards from Wild Heaven and right up against the MARTA rail yard.
