Six Hour Tour is our imperial coconut vanilla blonde ale aged on rum-infused American oak. Expect massive notes of luscious coconut, smooth Madagascar vanilla, and a complex and pastry-like malt profile accentuated by toasty oak that really pops once the beer warms up.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium to dark copper in color with moderate to heavy amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising slowly from the bottom of the glass and moderate caramel + amber + medium golden yellow + burnt orange + ruby red colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense creamy foamy very light beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of vanilla + coconut along with a light aroma of toasted oak. Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of toasted + bready + caramel + toffee malts with a moderate amount of caramel + toffee sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted + bready + caramel + toffee malts with a moderate amount of caramel + toffee sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of vanilla + coconut. Finally there is a light to moderate flavor of toasted oak with no discernible hop flavors. Light amounts of bitterness which do not linger but leave moderate sweet vanilla + coconut flavors behind.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Drinks pretty easily with well hidden alcohol but this is a bigger slow sipping beer in my opinion and not a beer that I could drink quickly though it did make a nice substitute for dessert due to the sweetness. Enjoyable with a nice more subtle presence from the toasted oak which complements the beer and strengthens as the beer warms up. Nice flavors + aromas from the vanilla + coconut though there is a hint of sunscreen like aspect to the coconut.
