On the hazy side, amber brew with plenty of foam. Smells like something under the sink with a whiff of burning rubber. Sweet and murky with a mineral aftertaste. Some orange juice and grapefruit peel flavor. Then it gets astringent with the bitter herbal tea taste.
This is the spoiled fruit style of DIPA. Sort of interesting, but it seems to get worse with every sip. What else do I have in the frig to get the taste out of my mouth? From the 16 oz can purchased at City Beer Store.
