This classic Bavarian weizen beer (hefeweizen) will transport you right to Munich. The tell tale clove and banana begins in the nose and follows through into the flavor to create a nice refreshing beer that represents the flavor created by the distinct yeast.

16oz can (4pk dated 4/6/22) poured into a weizen glass at fridge temp 5.1% ABV. The beer pours hazy peach amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a single layer of tiny bubbles and leaves a few streaks of lacing. The aroma is mild with wheat, bubblegum and mild banana. The taste is semisweet wheat malt with a moderate clove taste and bits of bubblegum and banana trailing into the mildly bitter finish. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall, ok. It's a bit watery and has the least wheat feel and taste I've experienced in a Hefe. It is however, an easy drinker and avoids the excess sweetness that sometimes plagues American versions of the style.
