Our first true lager, brewed in the style of a German Marzen, is sure to bring the feel of Munich in late September and October. This richly malty easy drinker is right at home next to you bratwurst and sauerkraut or a pile of salty pretzels.

16oz can from a four pack stickered 09/27/23 poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.1% per can. The beer pours bright copper tinted amber with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island. Minimal lacing. The aroma is mild with sweet caramel. The taste is semisweet toasted malt with nutty & toffee notes plus a spicy hint. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. There could be a hint of diacetyl hiding under the caramel malt, but it's not enough to significantly detract from the experience. Overall, ok.
