Authentic Bavarian style Hefeweizen, using Magnum hops. Very high quality and on par with authentic ones from Germany. Tastes close to Gordon Beirsch Hefeweizen-- banana, clove, notes of bubble gum, and significant wheat presence. Well balanced with right amount of carbonation. Very fresh, both on tap and in the can. Pull this one from the shelf and visit the brewery if you can-- located in Huntley IL, near Algonquin and Crystal Lake-- awesome brewery with outdoor seating, a stage, great music, great tap selection, and super cool bartenders. Brewery used to be a sewing machine factory.
