Black opaque pour with brown weaved in from the collar to the surface. Smell is very inviting with big cinnamon and more rugged barrel, dark chocolate right behind in a large way, nuances of vanilla, oak, roasted malt, earth, and char linger. Taste is simpler: barrel and cinnamon with some roasted malt, and the barrel depth is limited, but the ending with cinnamon is pleasing. Feel is dry, warm, roasty and shaped more by the cinnamon than the barrel. More depth here would go a long way, because the flavor combo really shines on the palate, as is it is a solid ba stout
