Good, semi-thick stout that's a blend of 55 percent fresh stout and 45 percent aged (6 months in oak barrels, then 15 months in freshly emptied Pinot Noir barrels). I paid a reasonable $6 for a one pint, 9 percent ABV can, poured into my work glass. At less than 1/3 the price of Bourbon County, it's more than half as good as that or any top-of-the-line stout. Low in carbonation, medium in taste, and refreshingly not too sweet. If I can find a 4- or 6-pack, I'd definitely acquire. Has an interesting can design too that doesn't scream "headbanger" (like many Baltimore beer cans); like a dogbone broken in the middle, it just makes you ponder the meaning of the design the closer you complete the pint.
