Is a Black "Hazy" Double IPA a thing? We thought it sounded fun so we made it a thing. This beer is filled with flavors of decadent chocolate orange candies with a velvety body and a sweetness boosted by a healthy dose vanilla. Double dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Azacca, El Dorado.

Can dated 2/9/23 into pint glass. Pours a murky dark brown with a persistent cream-colored head. Good lacing. Initial impression is citrus rind, bitter dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel is smooth, fairly thick, and sticky. Finish fades to somewhat bitter citrus. Overall,I must admit that I find black IPAs somewhat off-putting. Negative Octopus is pretty decent, but I doubt I'll be revisiting.
