16 ounce draft pour at the brewery.
L: Light Amber, very clear, creamy white one inch head, moderate retention.
S: Vinous, well attenuated red berries, yeast and sour dough aroma.
T: Dry but much less than the nose advertises, low flavor, tangy and spicy, woody hops, getting a white/blush wine aftertaste.
F: Light-medium body, effervescent and lightly crisp over a frothy feel.
O: Interesting, hard to rate against the typical American Amber but Mobtown calls it a Belgian Amber though I’m not sure I would think Belgian if they didn’t write it.

Appearance: Clear copper. Generous size, off white head. Light lacing.
Aroma: Yeast on first whiff yields to an earthier, fruity, spicy mix.
Taste: Moderately sweet. Hoppier than the nose might indicate. Tobacco. A bit of spice. Leather in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied, decently carbonated.
Overall: 'Belgian' amber? Maybe, but hard to specifically identify it as that style. Still tasty, though.
