Did not have high expectations after picking this one up, thinking it was just another locally made, one off, typical pale ale. But there were a few surprises along the way. Cloudy, pale gold appearance, large white head and good lacing was pretty much as expected. But the nose had a good burst of citrus, mainly orange, and a bit of tropical fruit while the malts stayed in the background. Hops remained strong in the taste although not as forceful in the finish. Decently carbonated, light-to-medium bodied mouthfeel. Not a style slayer but still pleasant.
