Can fresh from the brewery, my sample was labeled as 5.2% abv...pours deep black with a small mocha colored cap...aromas of roasted grains, come coffee aromas, some dank dark fruit sweetness and leafy herbs....flavor is roasty and well rounded with increasing bittering to balance...long mellow finish goes dry on the palate....decent cross between an Irish dry stout and an American stout....silky mouth feel and mellow character but full of flavor

Dark brown body with a cocoa powder head that forms well, and holds for a couple minutes
Mild aroma is crisp pale malt, almost like a pilsner, with hints of chocolate, and a touch metallic.
Taste is chocolately, lightly bitter roast, caramel malt, some minerality; medium/light feel, not rich, almost crisp, easydrinking; fine, medium/light carbonation, medium body.

A straightforward, simple stout with clean taste and feel, even sessionable.
