Went to Shannon’s for a lobster roll and saw this place. They work with Shannon’s, so you can bring your food up to Footbridge and eat it with their beer
When we were here it was a quiet lunch, and the brewers wife was working. She was very pleasant and happily describes every beer. She was able to pinpoint a beer my wife liked, and she is a wine snob. Those people are the worst
Alright, if you’re a hop head, don’t come here. More of a mild variety but I had a pale ale that was quite good and refreshing. It is an eclectic mix of beer, but worth the visit
They are so new. Opened Memorial Day 2020, during a pandemic. Hope they make it, as it is a nice spot

This looked to be a brand new brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Great location - basically at the waterfront and with a decent view from the lower level of the building. Hard to judge the vibe because we were the only people in there, but the potential is high. Reasonably open space, upcycled factory look with exposed brickwork. Nice, spacious bar. If they get hammered with tourists it might be challenging. Card games and a few board games that seem typical lately.
Service was at best OK. The staff seemed like hired hands not vary familiar with the brewery or the beers. The selection was limited and presented in a somewhat confusing manner, but we figured it out and sat down with a flight. The main thing was they didn't have everything available that was on the "list". The beers were watery and unremarkable, and I really hope simply reflect the "new" factor - there's quite a bit of room for improvement.
This place has a ton of potential with a great location. In my opinion, they need to have some sort of food option either partnering with a local shop or at least offering snacks. The location with its "out of the mainstream commotion" factor and decent view is perfect. The beer game needs a substantial upgrade, and hopefully improves. Unclear where and how they brew - there were brite tanks in the back, but other than that...wel, the staff did not know. Kind of stand-offish, too - almost like "oh shit...there's people here what do we do now". I asked one of the young ladies behind the bar if they were local (said yes) and could she recommend a good seafood dinner spot - basically got nothing in response.
