This nice chewy German Doppelbock scratches the malt-forward itch while cranking it up a couple notches. Big rich caramel, toasted fig, and marshmallow notes make it dangerously easy to drink. Aroma is fruit/hint of raisins, malts and slightly nutty/caramel. The flavor is malts, a hint of strawberry shortcake, caramel and a mostly smooth/slightly warming alcoholic finish.

Pint can poured into glass at home. Nice head, dissipates pretty quickly. Amber color. Flavor is true to the style. Smooth for 8%.
