A soft hazy made by our new head brewer Ruby from nothing but pils and oats and single hopped with Citra, worthy of inhalation both in the mouth and up the nose. We get lots of strawberry, candied fruit slices, and green fruit.

This is definitely a misnomer as this beer is delicious and what a hazy IPA should be. It has both the juicy characteristics of many mainstream hazies but also the necessary (in my opinion) bitterness and flavor.

Draft at the POPE. Hazy yellow pour, tight white foamy head. Fruity aroma, citrus, oats. Taste is gentle fruity flavors, some citrus, some tropical, all layered on a velvety smooth body. So damn delicious

Sacred Vice Brewing Co. "Rubbish"
$5 @ the Amber St. location/16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating

Notes via stream of consciousness: A murky light gold body is capped by a short head of bright white foam. The aroma is fairly limited but sweet with malt, resinous, and lightly fruity. The flavor is much fuller. The malt appears to be the usual 2-row or Pilsner, wheat, and oats combination but I could be wrong. I can definitely taste oats though so I'm sure about that ~ I love the floral note that oats lend to a beer. A moderate bitterness balances it nicely, leaving it sweetish but with some "hop burn" drying it. As to the hops I'm finding lime, peach, lychee, gooseberry, passionfruit, berries, and resins. It's fairly complex and yet somehow subdued if that makes any sense. It's "crushable" but satiating, and surprisingly refreshing. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. The extra proteins lend it a smoothness that's wonderful. The drawback to this beer is that the head retention and lacing could both be better. Other than that it's quite enchanting.
