Pumpkin pie sweet stout w/ lactose

What a rarity to find a sub 6% stout these days. It has been awhile, and as I wrote this I pondered if it's fair to judge this against the last stout I had had, a 14.5% behemoth.
A: Carob-mocha hued, so more on a muddy brown than rich black. Really no head, so it doesn't have that shine. If things could be equal I'd thought it'd show here especially with the head.
S: Cinnamon cookies and ginger dusted squash baking in oven. Pomegranate molasses, and gas station mocha coffee.
M: Med bodied with a thicker lactose feel. Pretty dry finish.
T: Pie spice works well, nicely layered, and constructive without distraction. Had somewhat of a pumpkin cheesecake sweetness to it. The overall sweetness was low, however, with some espresso powder and buttermilk. Flourishes of richer milk chocolate candy and caramel. Some smoked cherry wood in the finish.
Pretty OK, but I'd really have to bre in the mood for more.
