From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This unique brew made with
apple butter (?!?!?!?) pours a murky deep dark brownish black with a nice head of
khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some nice lacing.
Nose of apple, cinnamon, dark brown sugars, and faint clove. Flavors hit the note
with apple, cinnamon, clove, dark brown sugars, earthy malts, and subtle herbal
hops notes. Nice mouth feel; medium full body verging towards full, light carbonation
that offers some nice lift, and a cinnamon and clove laced finish.
Overall, unique and drinkable
