La Morenita

Very dark brown, but not black, with adequate foam in the Chimay chalice. Light body and plenty of spritz on the tongue. Aroma of cereal and brown rice. Just slightly sweet with a dose of malt. There's an interesting musty taste along with the scorched grain. Biscuity and a touch of butter. Bitterish dark aftertaste, again the black malt to go with the touch of sugar. Hops, I don't taste, but maybe an herbal note. I'm not sure this is a good example of the style, but it’s quite drinkable; just quite dark. From the 16 oz can purchased at the North Park taproom.
