Rye You Crying? was brewed with flaked rye while dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic, and Motueka hops. The beer has subtle citrus tasting notes and aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry, and a hint of lychee. The flaked rye adds a subtle spice flavor at the end and a more full-mouth feel.

This is just a little goopy tasting-- well, more than a little-- but it's not a full blown NEIPA crisis. Rather rich and sudsy in the mouth, with more sweetness than needed. The usual orange flavor but enlivened by the subtle rye taste. Maybe this is the right way to haze a beer, with rye instead of oats. In any case it's quite drinkable and actually nicely flavored with a reasonable amount of acid throat. From the 16 oz can purchased at Baron Market on West Point Loma.
