No date on can, into a snifter.
Pours a deep, dark reddish brown with heavy tan foam. Aroma is cherries, stewed plums, raisins, and a lot of brown sugar. Flavor follows the nose pretty well. This one is a sugar bomb. It's extremely heavy on the red fruits and light brown sugar, not molasses or caramel, and is quite bright for a quad. The flavors are incredibly lively and it's not at the verge of cloying, but it's a lot less deep than some quads I've had. The lack of over the top medicinal cherry flavor is great; everything here feels natural but it's just a little too sweet. Feel is good, alcohol presence is surprisingly minimal. A little thin and too sticky, but it's within the acceptable range for a quad, in my opinion.

Attractive pour. Strong, sweet raisin smell. Not a bad quad, not a great quad, but good. A little on the sweeter side for my taste.

Thank you Buck89 for this
375? ml bottle poured into a goblet
A- Dark brown with a small tan head.
S- Dark fruits, toffee, cereal grains, a little earthy.
T- Dark fruits, toffee, some pale grains, candied sugar, figs.
S- Smooth, medium body.
O- This is a nice Quad, but missing the complexity and depth of its Belgian counterparts.
