On tap into a small snifter.
Pours a dark brown with lingering foam. Aroma is sweet, lots of dark, sugary malts. Flavor is crazy though. Far too rich, with tons of white and brown sugar alongside vanilla syrup and dark malt flavors. The birthday cake is more an idea than an exact flavor, and it's really nice. Lots of cream as well. It's a brighter stout than expected, and there's some maple character as well that seems present in every Living Waters stout. Still, very good, and it's rich, sweet, and heavy on the vanilla and brown sugar. Mouthfeel is good, not too heavy on the body, but very soft and smooth. Overall a hit.

Bottle pours a bit lighter than expected, the cream colored head dissipates quickly. Nose is brownie and bourbon. Flavors are cake-like initially, warming to boozy vanilla goodness. Not a lot of body, but not distracting.
