Pours jet black with a thin tan head. You can smell it while pouring and it's wonderful.
Taste first off is barrel & booze with no heat what-so-ever, then an amazing rush of coffee & chocolate - like a molten chocolate cake with a sip of coffee at the same time - sublime. A nice viscous mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste that leaves you wanting more.
