Good Imperial IPA. Another candidate for an Imperial New England IPA style!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a hazy straw yellow body with a medium sized foamy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma and taste included lots of grapefruit and tropical fruit with a little dankness thrown in. Bitterness level was moderate. Mouthfeel was crisp, a little juicy and moderately bitter. No hint of alcohol harshness here. Goes down easy!!!! A good strong IPA!!!

A: The beer is very hazy dark pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coconut, grapefruit and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the flavors of coconut are stronger compared to those of the grapefruit and there are additional hints of pine. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA does a good job at hiding any alcohol from the taste and has some interesting complexities in the taste.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, pineapple, toasted caramel and pine. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a subtle toastiness, caramel sweetness and piney bitterness.
